AHA PEELING FOR THE EYES AREA

This is a skincare treatment using AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which is a chemial exfoliating agent, to nourish and moisturize the skin around the eyes.

The treatment is suitable for all skin types and skin colors. It can even out skin tone, moisturize the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eyes. It is especially effective for those who are experiencing mild to medium aging in the eyes area.

Mechanism

AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) falls under the acid category (they are acidic with average pH level of 3 ~ 4). AHA can be found easily in nature, usually extracted from fruits or plants.

AHA works on the uppermost layers of the skin’s surface, loosening the bonds between the layers filled with dead skin cells and the new, radiant skin beneath. This exfoliation process encourages our body to produce new & healthier skin cells. By using AHA, the skin surface will become smoother, firmer, brighter and more even in tone.

At ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC, we use AHA to gently exfoliate the skin around the eyes. The treatment can also rejuvenate the skin in this area; giving our customers brighter, healthier skin and less fine lines, wrinkles around the eyes.

Then, we will apply a collagen mask on the eyes area as a last step of the treatment. The mask will further nourish as well as calm the skin after chemical exfoliation.

Step1

Remove make-up and cleanse the skin around the eyes, preparing for treatment

Consultation with doctor. Our doctor will diagnose and come up with a treatment plan

Step3

Our therapist applies a layer of AHA on the outer corner of the eyes, the upper and lower eye lids

Step4

Collagen eye mask

Our therapist removes the peel layer and applies the collagen mask on customers' eyes area to calm the skin after the treatment

Step5

Finish the treatment

The therapist applies special eye cream and sunscreen for customer

Step6

Make-up (up to customer)

After the treatment, if requested by customer, ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC will provide free make-up to make sure customer exits our clinic with grace and confidence

Step7

Skincare after treatment

- Avoid direct contact with heat, minimize sun exposure and use sunscreen with SPF30 and above

- Use face wash and moisturizer that are gentle on the skin and suitable for sensitive skin. Recommendation: Dermacept or AOHAL SKINCARE products, available at our clinic.

- Moisturize the eyes area generously to sooth the skin after the treatment

- Use Dermacept EC Eyecream available at ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC to enhance the treatment's effect
