Mechanism

ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC applies Laser Q-Switched Nd YAG technology for birthmark removal. Laser Q-Switched is capable of delivering deep impact into the skin, targeting both the epidermis and dermis (the skin has 3 layers: the epidermis, the dermis, the subcutaneous fat).

Laser Q-Switched has 2 wavelengths: 562 nm and 1,064 nm. The 562 nm wavelength is suitable to target the epidermis while the 1,064 nm wavelength can target up to the dermis of the skin.

At ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC, we use Laser with 1,064 nm wavelengths for birthmark removal. With our treatment, customers can get rid of birthmark effectively, remain comfortable during the treatment and avoid unwanted scarring after the treatment.

Apply numbing cream on the treated area

Our therapist applies cold compress or cooling cream on the treated area to calm the skin

Step5

Skincare after treatment

- Keep the treated area dry and clean during recovery period. Customers can clean the area with water and soap, then dry it with a clean towel. If wearing a sterile dressing on the wound, customers can apply a thin layer of prescribed antibiotic cream on the treated area (maximum 3 times a day)

- If needed, customer can apply cold compress on the treated area for 24 hours after the treatment to ease the pain and relieve inflammation. Customer can take Panadol for pain relief but must avoid Apspirin

- DO NOT scratch or scrape the treated area. DO NOT peel off the flakes on the treated area. Let the flakes fall out naturally

- For 48 hours after the treartment, do not apply any cream or medicine on the wound, unless instructed otherwise by the clinic

- Apply sunscreen with SPF30 or above on the treated area for 3 months after the treatment
