Mechanism

Derma rolling is a treatment that involves using a derma roller covered with 150 - 500 micro needles to roll on the skin and create tiny wounds in the process. The tiny wounds then trigger our body's natural "healing response", causing new blood vessels to form under the skin and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to the wounded areas. These collagen would help resurface the skin; make the skin become smoother and younger; heal acne scars as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and large pores.

The tiny wounds created by the dermaroller are very superficial so the treatment will not leave any scar or do any damage to the skin tissues and the blood vessels.

Process

Cleanse the face, prep the skin for treatment

Consultation with doctor. Our doctor will diagnose and come up with a treatment plan

Our therapist applies numbing cream on customer's skin

Our doctor performs the treatment

Finish the treatment

Our therapist applies liquid anti-infective and special moisturizing serum (Collaplus produced by ROHTO) on customer's skin

- Keep the Collaplus layer on the skin for 12 hours after the treatment. After that, wash the face with clean water and gently dry the face with a clean towel.

- Unless instructed otherwise by our doctor, do not use any face wash or topical medicine on the skin for 36 hours after the treatment. Only use medicine prescribed by ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC's doctor.

- Minimize sun exposure and apply sunscreen with SPF30 or above before going out.

- If you get any peeling or flaking on the skin, do not pull the skin out or it will leave permanent scarring.

- Make-up can be applied after the skin is fully recovered (48 hours after the treatment). Customer needs to closely follow the instruction of ROHTO AOHAL CLINIC's doctor on applying make-up.
