Produced from bone marrow, platelets are small cells that live from 7 to 10 days. NOTES AFTER PRF TREATMENT:
- The area where PRF is injected may be red, bruised, and slightly swollen. The skin will come back to normal after a few days or 1 week
- In general, treatment of PRF does not require any dietary restrictions. However, if customers have keloid scars or are prone to bruising, they should avoid the following foods: water, spinach, beef, and seafood within 1-2 weeks after treatment. If the customer has no history of allergies or irritation to the above foods, they can eat and drink as usual.
- Do not touch the PRF injected point on your skin for 2-3 hours after the treatment to avoid bacterial infection.
- Customer should drink at least 2 liters of water a day to increase the effectiveness of treatment.
- Avoid massage of PRF injection skin for 1 week after treatment.
- If PRF is combined with a Fractional Laser to treat pitted scars, the skin will be browned. After 5-7 days, this thin brown layer will peel off naturally. Do not use your hands to pick up the grinding layer, premature peeling will leave scars or dark spots on the skin.
- Use mild cleanser and moisturizer that is gentle on the skin and suitable for sensitive skin, highly recommend using Dermacept or AOHAL SKINCARE products purchased at our clinic.
- Minimize sun exposure and apply sunscreen SPF 30 or higher.
