STAR stands for Skin Tightening And Rejuvenation. Just like the name implies, STAR - Forever Young treatment consists of 2 steps. The first step is rejuvenating and resurfacing the skin with BBL (Broad-band Light) technology. The second step is tightening, improving the texture and structure of the skin by heating up the dermal collagen with the BBL Skin Tyte system.
STAR - Forever Young is also known simply as Skin Tyte treatment. The treatment is developed by Sciton (US) and approved by the FDA, proven to be completely safe to use on the skin.
For step 1 of the treatment, we will use BBL to treat the skin. With a suitable wavelength, BBL can encourage collagen & elastin production, effectively rejuvenating the skin surface. All of the issues that come with aging such as big pores, rough skin, dull complexion... will be significanly improved.
After that, BBL Skin Tyte system is used to make the skin tighter and firmer. The treatment works by utilizing a broadband of near infrared light energy (800 - 1,400 nm) to deeply heat the dermal collagen. The heating triggers dermal collagen contraction and remodeling, initiates the body’s natural healing process, stimulates fibroblast activity and helps creating a new collagen foundation. Therefore, the treatment can restructure the skin and increase its firmness and elasticity. Thanks to the lifting effect the treatment has, it also helps reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
STAR - Forever Young (Skin Tyte) is suitable for all skin types and skin tones. Other than the face, the treatment can also be used on the body, such as the neck, arms, thighs, stomach area...
